How whiffy do you want to get...?

Image

From the start I was thinking of building the Allison B-17 as one of the captured ones operated by KG-200 but even for me this pic is pushing it...
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

I've seen that pic before. That would indeed make an excellent 'whif'. I'm going to stick with either the C.A.T one or 'Sally B' if the build is next year.

All the best.

I've seen this built up in 1/72 but I can't find it. Here's on in 1/144.

Could be a fun project

Hi all, I want to have a go. Would be fun to restart my kitbuilding-activities with this beauty.
And maybe I'll be building 2 simultaneously.

So thats five yes and three maybe's. Looks like this is a go'er and most votes ask for this year. Looks like the Boeing Build off can go ahead folks.

All the best.

It looks like we need a couple more yes votes for the GB to go ahead so does anyone else want to get building pre Telford?. There are CBK B17's. Coastal Command Fortress'. Bomber Command, Drones, USAF/USAAF aircraft. What if's. Engine test beds and plenty mode besides. I plan on doing the CIA operated 'Civilian Air Transport' aircraft that was used to drop spy's etc in S/E Asia post WW2 if the build is pre Telford, and 'Sally B' in her early silver scheme if next year.
Why not join in the Boeing Bash?. You know you want to. :-D

All the best.

I have voted no, as I have not got one in my stash and I have not had a lot of luck with my four engine builds of late.

Good luck with the GB I will watch it with interest.
