Great start. I have heard the type referred to as the "clockwork chicken leg" that was not on here though. This kit will bearly balance on it's skids even with the pilots in if I recall (though it could have been my lousy skills lol) . If you can add any weight inside that may help.

All the best

I've stuck lots of liquid gravity filled Blu tak into the very small spaces below the cockpit floor. May still not be enough but at least I've tried. I've also discovered the cockpit roof glazing is the wrong one for the RAF version of the Gazelle (which didn't have the raised detail).

I have three different boxing of the Gazelle in the loft. I will see if any of them have both cabin roof options. If I have a spare flat roof then I will send it to you.

Just checked. All three only have the flat roof. Has yours got the optical sight housing? If yes do you want to trade the roof parts? One of my builds will be AAC so it may be useful.

Thanks Greg that would be fantastic. I'll send you mine. I'm not sure what the housing is for, but there should be a pic below if the erratic photo upload system is working...

It's a bit hard to see clearly in the photo, but it's like the top glazing blister on the Army gazelle here:

It's always great to see a Gazelle being built - two of them flew over my house the other day.

The red white and grey RAF training scheme for the Gazelle is one of the hardest to brush paint. I just have to have patience and lots of faith that with multiple thin layers of red, white and grey the brush marks will disappear and with final coats of Klear will bring it to a gloss/satin finish. Steady progress.

That's looking good, I probably did 6 coats of each colour on the Gazelle I built
It's only pain, work through it.
