Nice one Splash. The diminutive size of this helicopter is nicely illustrated by the Sea Fury alongside - which I assume is also in 1/72nd, otherwise forget that comment

The worrying thing is the carpet monster loves the taste of the Amodel plastic and it might try to snaffle the fished kit

Sorry guys, I'm not going to finish this on time, I keep attempting to build the rotor head but the parts and instructions do not make sense.

Until I can find a good close up photo or diagram of the rotor head the builds on hold.

Why is it 30 seconds and one search after my last posing I found this link http://walkarounds.airforce.ru/avia/rus ... /index.htm?

This changes everything the build is back on.

Disaster averted then Splash, excellent news and hopefully we'll soon see pics of the finished tadpole gracing our screens!

  Those Soviet designers didn't pick the easy option by the looks! Yes, I see what you mean, that rotor arrangement would not be the easiest thing to fathom without clear instructions.

I'm back on track, I ditched the small rods supplied with the kit and just used wire.

I have missed some of the very small link rods but I think it will look fussy enough once painted.

Glad that you're getting this one done... The cruddier the kit, the better you feel when you make it look good

That looks near enough for jazz to me Splash, nice bit of work. Those Kamov rotor arrangements really look interesting.
