Re: Random Vandalism
Really pleased to read that your finger is healing well. I hope it continues to do so and that you will soon be rigging a real (ie pusher) aeroplane!

Re: Random Vandalism
Good to see you fully functioning again, Dave.
I might see your Isuzu next weekend.
My wife had an Isuzu Bellett a long time ago. And even longer ago they were commonly used as taxis in Kathmandu!
Not many people know that!
(I have been watching lots of Michael Caine impersonations on YouTube )

Re: Random Vandalism
Thanks for all the well wishes about the finger. It's continuing to recover really well.
David, hopefully I get this built in time for Saturday. It's a busy week so it'll be touch and go.
It has easily the nicest underbody detail of any kit I've built.

An unusual subject. The Japanese domestic market is well catered for.

The Isuzu was done:

Since then it's been blitzing or Hercules GB for me. However, this weekend is a twin prop theme at IPMS so I thought I would see if I could knock out this little KP Bobcat/Crane. About 3 hours work has it at this point:

Quick setting glue and fast drying acrylics. There's going to be a whole lot of filling and sanding at this point though.Softscience wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 2:12 pm you have a largely built twin engine short run kit after 3 hours? Dude, how do you do it?

Going back in your thread a bit. Man that was a nasty bit for your digits!
Nice progress on the Isuzu. It is a cool looking car of the 70's. Very shapely. I have not built a car model since the 70s. I might have to pick one up for a change.

Re: Random Vandalism
Thanks PGAS. Yeah, definitely grab yourself a hunk of 70s goodness
Work on the Cessna continues. I was qorried the yellow was too pale so I decided to under coat with orange. Worst decision ever
It took a ludicrous amount of yellow paint to get coverage. I will never do that again.
Anyway, I was finally able to get it dry enough to apply decals, then after that a satin coat. It's very tacky to the touch, but with the meeting tomorrow it's this or nothing...

You have got a very good yellow finish on that.
