Holy crappoli! How did you manage that? Hope the docs have put things back together.

But hey, you still have two fingers and a thumb - get some rigging done!

Is that an overextension and a full dislocation? Needs a warning sign for the squeamish.

Ouch! Applying all my trauma training, I can safely say that isn't supposed to be like that...
Still, some Jack Daniels and a large vice, it'll be good 👍
Best wishes

Sounds like the result of an unfortunate cycling incident and it certainly looks painful, VV. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Thanks everyone. It was a very uneventful injury - just momentarily distracted on the bike and met with a wall at low speed. The dislocation was severe though and the female trauma nurse gave up after 6 attempts and had to call a male nurse, then a doctor to finally relocate it. I breathed a LOT of nitrous.

There will be no rigging happening for a bit, I regret to inform. F-16s traditionally aren't known for it anyway

Well, here we are again. The dislocated finger is well on the way to recovery. I've been able to do a blitz and then finish mt road & track GB. Now it's time to churn out something for the "Big in Japan" theme at the model club next weekend. I've picked an Isuzu 117, partly in memory of a friend who passed away recently who loved his 1970s Isuzu to bits.

It's been a while since I built a car so it'll be good to have another on display. The 117 is an absolutely gorgeous car.

I'm using rattle can for the main body colour.

Good news that the finger is on the way to recovery, VV. That Isuzu 117 bodyshell looks excellent. I have a feeling the 117 is another of those great 1970's Japanese coupes that never made it to these shores.
