Osprey Avaition Elite No 34 - 617 Sqn - Alex Bateman

Courtesy of Messr Wally Smith, and to assist in the intended 617 Sqn GB in May the Aviation Elite No 34 by Alex Bateman.
I have only had a skim through it so far but am well impressed with the size of it, over 128 pages with as you expect from Osprey stacks of photos and colour profiles, the Lancs of course and the Mosquitos and Mustangs.
It also covers some operations I had never heard of before including the Boom Patrol boat drops and the mass use of unused Highball mines.
Looking forward to getting a start on this.
I am hoping Father Christmas will be dropping off the Haynes Dambuster and Lancaster Manuals to complete my 617 fix for the GB.
