Thanks for voting folks. And welcome aboard Tom. I have to say even if we only have half the number completing the build it'll be a successful one. I'm certainly looking forward to this one.

All the best.

OK, it looks like 8 yes (Greg, Paul B, Narayan, Molly-new, TomW, Jssel, O_T, lancfan) ,2 maybe (Prisca, forest1000) for May 1st to June 1st ?

If that's it, I'll put it on the calendar.

What happened to Dirk ? He's a Mustang fan, airplanes and cars ? I'd think he at least owed it to O_T to participate :)

I am pretty sure you can count me out. The date that suited me worst, I'm afraid :-|
Coming back from holiday in China the 13th, and May being a busy month it will be hard to participate.
But will follow the beautiful builds of the Mustangs from the sideline. :)

That's a shame Sissel. It would have been good to have you aboard. Have a good time in China.
Welcome aboard Mark. Glad to have you in on this.

Good to have a date confirmed! I think I already signed up but will sign up again just in case! Now I just need to decide which of my 3 P-51 kits I want to build!

For those of you taking part in the Mustang GB, I've some 1/48 decals to give away if you wish to use them on your build. These are all for Tuskegee Airmen - the Red Tails - and are from an Aeromaster 1/48 sheet. Please choose one of the following:

(Sorry the pics aren't too clear) From top to bottom:

Miss Pelt
Bunnie
Ina the Macon Belle
Little Freddie

First person to claim each will get them in the mail. One each, and you must use them on your Mustang GB build, please.

That's a very nice offer Paul and there's certainly no need to apologise about the pictures. I myself will decline as I'll be doing 1/72 but the Red Tails theme is interesting.
