I'm using an Iwata Eclipse, but need to use it with a bit more finesse rather than open the taps and hose the paint on :)

Ha ha I'm in the mask and hose camp myself! I'm just glad to get paint out of the things sometimes. I've got a little bit better one now I will try a bit harder. Cute little Boomerang

Wow, Nigel. That's really awesome. I've never considered building something like this, even. So cool to see you build it.

Thanks for the nice comments gents. Really appreciate it. Before taking part in the GB, I'd had the Airfix Gladiator on the bench. This is as far as I got

Those crosses on the interplane struts look novel.... Were they some form of reinforcement that I have not seen on photos before?!

Hi LM. That would be these

A jig already moulded into the struts by Airfix. Once you have the top and bottom wings joined together, remove those parts.

Pretty clever approach. Arma hobby does something similar with their Fokker landing gear. I wish we could see more of this.

I wonder if the bulldog kit will have something similar

Blimey that's a nice idea from Airfix for the struts! Your Gladi looks great already.

Making biplane construction easy. All biplane kits should have them, then Vickers Vandall and I would not be the only ones on this site building models of real aeroplanes!!
