War Machine Moebius models 1/8

From Apollo and Soyuz, to Gerry Anderson, Irwin Allen, Star Wars and Trek to Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica and those strange, doe-eyed Japanese school girls...to any model kits you can think of, that only exists in imagination.

War Machine Moebius models 1/8

Post by SMD70 »

Here is my take on the Moebius War Machine from Iron Man 2. It's painted with Alcad II polished aluminium and a custom mix of black and Gunmetal from Tamiya that I mixed up. There are a fair few panel joins that caused a few problems down the legs and arms but plenty of filling and sanding sorted most of that. I do wish that Moebius would have included some decals for this and for £45 I'd expect some... no this wasn't picked up in the MZ £10 deal... it was a birthday present along with the black widow as seen further down the page and in another thread. I bodged markings as best as I can and still may come vback to this to add more later.

Anyway on with the pictures.

Good use of varying shades to break up the otherwise uniform finish.
