You know Shaun, I cant remember, I think I swapped it for some magic beans.
Anyway, sprues washed and left to dry. No major problems leap out apart from some ejection marks on the lower armour plates but thats easily fixed.

Well I was looking forward to starting with this tonight but an emergency with my little hound scuppered that and after hearing what the vets bill was going to add up to, I almost needed treatment as well. Building will commence tomorrow.

Hes got to rest (easier said than done!) and then go for a big operation on Tuesday.

Anyway off we go in my sweltering shed.

Image

This is a really a gem of a kit. Detail is very good and the fit is first rate!

Lower hull assembled.

Image

Upper hull was then drilled as per instruction (photo lost)
and then mated to lower, additional amour and various hatches ect fitted and that's how she stands at the moment. I'm going to have a scrat through my spares bin to see if Iva got any additional odds and bobs to add. ( does any body know if the Germans were still confident enough to use recognition flags at this point?)

Looks like an excellent kit. I look forward to seeing how it turns out. With regard to air recognition flags, there are plenty of photos of German vehicles at Kursk using them.
