 Uhm... well it has a close eh.. reference to Norway so that'd be a logical choice, wouldn't it. Oscarsborg :-D

Some Brits, alas, let the side down. I've swum in the North Sea you know.
I know Shaun, but did you enjoy it or freeze? :-D
I have Scharnhorst 1/570, should I blitz it?
Nah, wouldn't do it justice, even if you say it's a great build but it looks like a trainwreck and I'd get a surprise in the morning

As long as she knows you stay home those weekends, she wont be suspicious :ha: :ha:

This is one for the GB Leader I think but I will post it here to get a few opinions.

The only date that we can all get together for the Blitzbau House is 31st August so our 24 hours will run into September.

Is this permitted?

Of course O-T. A blitz without the house would not be a proper blitz.

I have had a brief look through the stash for something for the Ted Taylor/matchbox G/B and I am thinking as a warm up I will do something Matchbox for this one too. Undecided as yet though.

All the best.

Cheers Jeff. I know exactly what kit I would like to attempt to blitz but the household timekeeper probably would veto it. I would definitely need 2X 12 hour periods AND her co-operation posting updates etc once again.

All the best.

I may need to ask for the same consideration. I am heading overseas week after next, which takes out two weekends and next weekend is booked up with work and other commitments. Taking the weekend of the 31st will now be my only chance to have a decent crack at this blitz.

I've also taken a look at the Miles Falcon and decided a resin kit like that is just biting off too much for a Blitz. Currently I'm undecided between the Airfix DH.88 Comet or an Albatros D.III - either Revell or Roden.

I think I'd like to have an attempt at one or two models for this. However, I'm not really free until after the 18th, and I'm going to be a wimp and do a simple kit or two.
There is a slim chance I may have time betwixt this Thursday/Friday and next Tuesday to fit one in. Deciding on what to do is the hardest part.
And there's no way am I gonna let you lot decide for me :ha:
I think a blitz may get me modelling mojo a kuta.
Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

I am selecting August 11th, a Sunday, to blitz. At least that is the plan.
