Re: Splash's Shaun and Blitzer Blitz **started**
I'm up a ready to go, breakfast is a simple toast and rabbit food mixture with a coffee in my favourite Airfix mug.
I have had a quick look at the Land Rover and the paint has set with only one run that will need sorting.

Yes, that is a disappointingly healthy looking breakfast you have there Splash and I see that no pigs were harmed in the making thereof. Remember - a chicken contributes to breakfast whereas a pig is committed

Nice start Splash. I like you having grapes in the 'cereal' bowl or whatever it is.

Guys and girls you got it wrong that was not a healthy breakfast it was a quick breakfast, hot food takes time that I don't have
It's a Blitz, food comes last, as you can see my bench is now looking like a scrap yard, time to lay down some black paint on the base.

Quick break whilst the black paints dries. I have miss judged the size of the kit it just took half a pot of Tamiya black to cover the interior/base/dashboard & seats.
As an experienced blitzer I thought I would pass on my experience of how to succeed with your blitz
As an experienced blitzer I thought I would pass on my experience of how to succeed with your blitz
- pick a small simple kit (I failed )
pick a kit with a low part count
Pick a simple colour
Use acrylics as they dry quicker
Use an airbrush it has quicker coverage and faster drying time than the hairy stick
Plan you build before you start, identify the parts and order they fit,
Think about painting the parts before removing the from the sprue.
Have fun and remember to update your thread (a picture speaks a thousand words)

Looks to be a good start. Those rules, or many of them, will be broken during my blitz also. Not sure about that breakfast but the mug is pretty nice.

There will now be a short intermission whilst I pop out to get some milk and bread for my lunch.
