The Widgeon it''s very fine and close to the real thing.
Sometimes the talent consists exactly in that: try five dozen times when others stop at three dozen...! (F.Labelle)
I think that modeling is a subtle mix of zen philosophy and absolute crazyness - but in my case I would not dare to specify the respective percentage of each......

Of course, if you paint the Vulcan, do not park your car! :ha:

Here I am, by now I'm working on Athos Portos and Aramis Mousqueteer operation trio..in reality only two are French, the third is British.
They are at different stage of "readiness"

A Trumpeter Westland Wyvern is ready for decals, some small corrections was made after this picture:

Image

a Italaerei (old brand) Republic F-84 F Thunderstreak is ready for cockpit masking and it will be straight from the box (correct?) not rescribed as you can see.

Image

and a Italeri (new brand) Republic RF-84 F Thundreflash is simply not ready, or better, is ready only the cockpit and some small crazy detalis, it will be all rescribed.

I had a fight with the Vulcan, so it's sleeping for a while.

Those must be a very small diameter hole!!! What scale is the Thunderflash and what size drill did you use?

All my aircraft model are in 1/72 scale.
The drill in millimeters is a 0.30

Here only to share the results:

Thunderflash have the wings glued, with a small strip of plasticard to simulate the "air channel for the engine" (better a picture)
