Ahh , I'm not as daft as I look!! XV741 has just been moved to the Brooklands Museum after a Jet Art Aviation restoration. I keep trying to drop on one of the Bobcat Harriers, looks like I'll have to dig deeper and get the Sword version.
Great work btw.

Haha now I never said that!
I'd have given you the other one mate as a thankyou for the Novo kit but Sal has claimed it as one of her builds for the Harrier GB.
Happy Wife Happy Life :-D.

I am planning on building the DORA Raspberry Ripple Test aircraft with the Xtradecal set I bought so Im also left in need of a Sword T.2 but around the £15 mark isnt too bad I suppose.
Our anniversary is coming up so I might just have to sweet talk Sal to it haha.

A great looking bunch of Harriers plus that lone F-35 in WIP, Mav - is the Lightning going to be a RAF version?
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Thanks Shaun!
It was going to be but I haven't got the correct markings for it and no one knows yet if the RAF have decided to go with the A and indeed when they would be delivered to predict a correct registration so I'm going to go with either Hill(HL Seen on deployment at RAF Lakenheath) of LF(Seen at the 2018 Royal International Air Tattoo)

After a few hours work on the GR.7/9's canopy and an announcement from the Royal International Air Tattoo this morning I decided to add this beast to the 10 week finish list:
Image
2 long stories short I really dont like alot about the New Tool Airfix 72nd Harrier GR.7/9.
It has faught me all the way through!
And the Su-27 Flanker is going to look like this:
Image
I have the FoxBot masks and I came across some decals by chance for a couple of the queens pounds at last years Newark Aeroboot.
Image
I'm really looking forward to doing this scheme, I want it finished before seeing the Flankers for the third year on a row which to us in the UK is unheard of!
Add to that the Romainian MiG-21 and a pair of Spanish Harriers in the RIAT flying display it looks to be a really good show if none of the highlights pull out!

Also XV741 "Racer Harrier" is masked and ready for paint:

Last night I carried on the fight with the Newer Airfix GR.9A.
My paint job and seat velts on the ejection seat isnt the best but im not willing to waist anymore time on little areas when Im having major issues with the whole kit.
Also according to the instructions there isnt a clear piece for the Heads Up Display but quite clearly there is.
The canopy was so bad I've had to email Airfix to try and get a replacement and I've stolen one from one of my other GR.9A's.
And last ive added the ski's(what ever they are called) to the lower fuselage and now finally along with white gluing the canopy on she is ready for paint!

Anyway onto the better kits on my workbench at the moment.
Ive added custom HUD's to the Heller T.4, masked and white glued the Flanker's canopy and cleaned the other up so now all 6 are ready for primer!

Looks like an RAF Eurofighter is on the cards then, Mav. If you want a bit of a challenge, I can recommend the 1/48th Revell single-seat version. Oh what a laugh that was.

Boom nice guess Shaun!

So this is a very old long awaited finish, I was bought the Revell Typhoon around 2005 by my Dad as a Christmas present and started it not long after.
Fast forward 14 years and today she finally becomes finished!
I added extra pylons and weapons.

My second declaired completion of the night is this Matchbox Blackburn Buccaneer.
This was built by a friend and just needed finishing off with a few touch ups:

And last but not least heres my 3rd finish after a fair bit of rounding off tonight, not quite aslong on the bench as the Typhoon but a few years this time is a 1/72 Old Tooled Airfix Harrier GR.7.
Back then I was much less worried about all wheels touching the floor but abit of sanding soon changed all that.
I decided to use the bombs off the Italeri T.10 I finished not long ago as they just didn't feel right so they were transfered:
