The E-Type is a lovely shape. The rings scheme should look pretty good on this. Best of luck painting them!

Must apologise at being rubbish with my updates. Been busy posting rigging videos!
The interior is painted, the filling and sanding is complete and it's had its first coat of orange.
Pics to follow. Sooner or later.....

Very nice paint Ian, and a lovely steering wheel too! I'm liking this a lot.

Steering wheel looks great, it's on the wrong side though! :ha:
Nice touch with the ejection seat handle. Great painting as well.

Believe me, the paint is horrible. I think I need to strip it and start again.......

Good to see some pics and it looks good from here. However, I know that the camera can tell fibs sometimes and I can't live with a paint job that I think is bad either. It's frustrating to have to strip the model back and repaint but if you're like me, you'll never be happy with it if you don't.

Sissel - a great British car like this should always have its steering wheel on the (correct) right hand side, our cars don't drive proper when driven on the right hand side of the road for any length of time you know :ha:

Stop complaining! Looks fine to me and nowhere near as bad as mine, which looks horrible and you're about to see it in a couple of minutes!
I should have stripped the paint and/or binned the kit, that's how bad it all is.

Yeah, yeah... Whatever... :ha: :ha:
My Aston Martin has the wheel on the wrong side, I'll have OCD problems placing it at the shelf. :-D

Stripping it is looking more and more appealing. As is choosing a different scheme. I've put a couple of coats of orange on and it's looking worse than ever now.
