Food, it gets everywhere! Perhaps we should morph into the Unofficial Food and Drink Forum (with a small modelling section squeezed in somewhere, just in case one of us stops eating for a while and decides to make a model)
Dammit, now I fancy a biscuit! Prisca's power of suggestion is too strong!

Looks like a very impressive interior Prisca, I reckon you've earned your cookies
I think you did a very good job of squeezing in your wheel covers! My other half is always teasing me about reading the instructions, I have a tendency to open a kit and study the sprues first, then sit there saying 'what's this part, what's that part?' Maybe I need to stop copying the guys too?

Re: Sissels Salvadoran Jaguar
Thank you Tim, Chip, Zee and Miss-Stang.
Now look what you made me do.
I've put the cars aside.
The painting and masking job have given horrendous results. Enormous amount of bleed and paint just looks ugly. Paint bottles just wont cooperate either. It's all gone to h*ll. The Aston Martin almost went to the bin, fit is a major issue here as well, chassis and body looks to be from different kits! This Jaguar doesn't go well either.
What the heck was I thinking trying to brush paint cars??!!
(I've done it before, maaaany years ago, much better results then.)
You guys to blame for that, I just eh... showed a picture of what I was consuming at the bench!PaulBradley wrote:Didn't take long for this thread to evolve into cooking......!

From that last picture it was looking fantastic. Shame it's gone a bit pear shaped but I'm sure you'll be able to rescue it.

Re: Sissels Salvadoran Jaguar
Thanks, John.
I decided to spoil the surprise with showing an 'in-work' photo of the body.
Have just put the darker green on. All colors will need more layers to get a good coverage. I really love these colors and do think they fit the shape of the car very nice.
There will be a yellow stripe going over from side to side at the back. I'll use decals for that.
My faith is restored.

That's brilliant. Agree with Nigel there, great colours.

Re: Sissels Salvadoran Jaguar
Thanks, guys. I've put another layer of the two greens on, I just keep repainting due to bad colors that wont cooperate. The sand will get a coat tomorrow. I've painted the mirrors, and just spotted I need to put a decal on the front of other part before putting this together.
It's 1.15am and I nearly fell asleep at the bench... over the coffee mug. Not happened before. It's great to feel tired as I've had troubles sleeping lately.
Snow pouring down and windy, that'll rock me to sleep!
