A rather ironic way for him to die - sadly.

I enjoyed the Fast and Furious films for what they were. Nice, harmless fun to me. Haven't seen 6 yet.
RIP Paul Walker.

I didn't like the films much, aimed at a much younger generation of hi-tech car enthusiast than me, not old-school carburettor twiddlers like me, more chip remapping; cars for the Playstation generation.
But a sad and tragic death of a good looking promising actor. RIP Paul

I'm afraid the films passed me by too - wrong age I guess.
My idea of a fun motoring film is "The Fast Lady".

Is that the one where Leslie Phillips' girlfriend turns up near the beginning in the gorgeous great big white Lincoln convertible? What a motor!Eric Mc wrote:I'm afraid the films passed me by too - wrong age I guess.

I read about this yesterday. Very sad to find out. I liked him as an actor and have seen many of his movies. And I liked the Fast and Furious series, good entertainment. Even though those kinda cars are not to my liking.
He was a talented actor, one I really liked.

Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

I think so. The main star of the film is a pre-war Bentley - plus Stanley Baxter and James Robertson-Justice.Zee28 wrote:Is that the one where Leslie Phillips' girlfriend turns up near the beginning in the gorgeous great big white Lincoln convertible?
