Thanks guys, kind words are always welcome. :)

I applied the decals last night, not without a few issues:

I can't remember where I got these or how long I have had them so age could be to blame (or my fat fingers :???: ).
Either way the went on mostly fine. Just the one star broke & one of the serial numbers just dissolved. I like the result though:

She is up on her legs now too so tonight fit the canopy, cannons, exhaust etc. Apply another klear coat before weathering then finally a dull coat.
Should be done on time. 8-)

I am calling this one done. Will post some pics tonight when I get home.

For now here are the last ones I took:

Since these were taken I have given it a dull coat & unmasked the canopy.

A really enjoyable GB & a cool colour scheme too. Just goes to prove that you can never have too many Spitfires.

Well done on a great finish OT.

I can only see one problem and that is, I now want one in those colours :-D

My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

It has stopped raining so I took the chance to snap some pics in daylight. Please excuse the use of a recycle bin lid as a stand.
