The model is now primed but as that dries I will take a television break for the first episode of the new series of Doctor Who.

Looking good. I like the pose you've used on the stand.

Thanks mjatz, I have tried to copy the new pose of the full size aeroplane at IWM Lambeth.

Well, I am back from the television having greatly enjoyed Doctor Who. Before returning to the hobby room I fried up an evening snack- a very well filled, very tasty and probably equally unhealthy bacon butty.

One bacon butty- to be consumed before continuing.
Image

The model covered in what is now very dry grey primer thinly applied earlier to kill the vivid blue plastic.
Image

The underside has been coated in Revell Aqua 76 Light Grey.

That butty looks like there's plenty of bacon on it. I wouldn't mind one of those myself.

O_T, Tim, the butty did have plenty of bacon in it and it went down very well.

The colour division has been masked and the upper surfaces have been thinly coated in Humbrol 105, the model is shown here after the paint had dried, it needed another coat as the finish was patchy.

The second coat of Humbrol 105 has been put down and is now drying.

Cheers Tim.
The Sky band was painted on using Humbrol 90, when this had dried the varnish was applied.

Nice, it shouldn't be too long to the finishing line by the look of it.
