Re: Stu's bench of woe
Sorry should had said, its an airfix starter kit which I got of ebay. I got it just in-case my paints were U/S after 9 years of no use (there not). The molding is shocking. It has 1982 on one of the fuselage halves, although the box is one of the red modern type. I have no pictures of how bad it was as I was to eager to get started.

OK. I remember that kit. Built it once and was not happy with it and it got binned. Got another plus the Hasegawa and new Airfix so will try again.
Press on and good luck.

I would have binned it by now, but its must be my third attempt at this kit over the years and I will not let it beat this time.jssel wrote:OK. I remember that kit. Built it once and was not happy with it and it got binned. Got another plus the Hasegawa and new Airfix so will try again.

Re: Stu's bench of woe
The build has been going slow over the last 10 days with the kid been off school. I now have a larger bench of woe and I finally got the wings on and the ejector seat in. I've also got the undercarriage, gun pods and a couple of the pylons painted.
