Hey All
I built this as part of the Classic Matchbox Group Build around 18 months ago but didn't finish off the diorama. So, it's only taken me 18 months to get round to sticking a bit of foliage on the tree. When I was building it, the tree was a nice uniform shape but someone (I think it was Splash) drew my attention to the bomb crater that the tank was traversing and noted that the tree would probably show the effects of such a close blast. So, i reshaped the tree and created a few broken off branches and, hence, the tree looks a bit lopsided.
Of course, after 18 months, I finally finish this off and then see that James Perrin is building the same thing . . .
Cheers
Springy

I've also built this classic Matchbox AFV, Springy and you've made a great job of yours. I like the extra work on the base with the bushes too, a great addition to that rather impoverished looking OOB twig!

Excellent work the twisted tree really looks the part and balances the diorama perfectly.
Seeing yours and James makes me want to build one of mine.

Love it. The Comet looks great for it´s age. Not entirely convinced by the brocoli tree but you´ve painted her lovely!
